“The Voice of Ireland” Tommy Fleming, returns to Australia for a national tour in support of his new album due for release in early 2017.
One of the best entertainers working today, Tommy has earned a stellar reputation as a live performer.
While touring consistently through Ireland’s pubs, clubs and festivals in the early 1990’s, Tommy was heard by the legendary Phil Coulter and within days was guesting with Phil and his Orchestra at the Cork Opera House, National Concert Hall in Dublin and The University Concert Hall in Limerick.
These appearances soon led to a tour of the US and Canada, where Tommy played to huge audiences including shows at the Boston Symphony Hall and legendary Carnegie Hall in New York.
Following in the footsteps of living legends such as Mary Black, Maura O’Connell, Dolores Keane and Paul Brady, Tommy soon joined traditional Irish folk group “De Danann” as lead vocalist. This introduced him to a worldwide audience touring Australia, Hong Kong, China and the U.S.A.
Since then Tommy has released numerous solo records, achieving multi-platinum sales and has had a hugely successful solo career.
This will be Tommy’s fourth major tour of Australia and promises to be even more successful and acclaimed than any that have gone before.
